The Classroom That Started With Two Chairs

Project Shiksha didn't begin as a program — it began with two children who couldn't get into a government school because their families lacked the right paperwork. Volunteers stepped in to sort out admission forms, chase documentation, and sit with parents through a process that was never built with them in mind. Word spread. What started with two students now reaches more than fifty.

"No child should be kept out of a classroom for the want of a form."

Conversations That Change Direction

Not every problem a child carries shows up on a report card. Project Manthan gives children and adolescents a space to talk — about pressure, bad habits, and the choices in front of them — through mentorship, awareness sessions, and honest conversation. It's slower, quieter work than a classroom, but the shift in confidence and focus is the whole point.

"Sometimes the most useful thing you can do is listen first."
